Take responsibility for failures. Be honest and transparent.
When something goes wrong and you’re partially to blame, the human reaction is often to place blame on others. Not only will this destroy your team trust. It reduces your ability to establish trust with most people around your team who hear it. No-one trusts a blamer because you don’t know what they’re saying behind your back.
